Emma Alpern

Emma Alpern is a Senior Copy Editor at New York Magazine, where Emma copyedits the print magazine, edits the weekly crossword puzzle, and regularly writes and reports articles. Emma has previously worked as a Writer and Copy Editor for various publications such as the Atlantic, Vice, Curbed, Eater, and more. Emma has held positions at Vox Media, Inc., Razorfish Health, and Harlequin, among others. Emma holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in American Literature from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Literature from Bard College.
