Christine Daly

Director Of Mediator Education Quality Assurance at New York Peace Institute

Christine Daly has extensive work experience in various fields. Christine served as the Director of Mediator Education & Quality Assurance at the New York Peace Institute, overseeing the mediation apprenticeship program and providing training and supervision to mentors and coaches. Prior to this role, they were the Associate Director, responsible for providing support and professional development to mediators and conflict resolution professionals. Additionally, they worked as a Project Developer, co-creating the Voices Program and providing training to the New York City Police Department in mediation techniques.

Before joining the New York Peace Institute, Christine worked as a Felony Prosecutor in the Domestic Violence Bureau at the Bronx County District Attorney Office. In this role, they managed a diverse caseload and conducted trials, hearings, and grand jury proceedings. Christine also responded to active crime scenes, questioned suspects, prepared search warrants, and liaised with the NYPD.

Christine began their career as a Public High School English Teacher at Clements High School in the Fort Bend Independent School District. Christine taught sophomore and junior classes and co-founded the Open Forum Problem Solving Initiative.

Christine Daly's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Boston College. Christine completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Secondary Education in 1997. From 1998 to 1999, they pursued further studies at The University of Waikato, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. In 1999, they enrolled at Harvard University and earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in the following year. Christine continued their academic journey at Boston College Law School, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2000 to 2003.
