Omar Dairanieh

Associate Director, Digital Operations at New York Philharmonic

Omar Dairanieh has a diverse work experience in the arts and cultural sector. Omar is currently serving as the Associate Director of Digital Operations at the New York Philharmonic, where they oversee digital initiatives. Prior to this, Omar worked as a Project Manager for Digital at the same organization.

Before joining the New York Philharmonic, Omar worked as the Marketing Manager for Education & Social Impact at Carnegie Hall. Omar also held the position of Communications & Marketing Manager at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.

Additionally, Omar has experience in social media strategy, having worked as a Social Media Strategist at the Institute of Sacred Music. Omar also served as an Archives Assistant at the Oral History of American Music organization.

Omar has academic experience as well, having served as a Woodbridge Fellow at Yale University and as a Publications Assistant at the Yale Center for British Art.

Omar Dairanieh completed their education at Yale University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Omar attended Yale from 2009 to 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, Omar continued their education at Yale and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Religion, which they pursued from 2014 to 2016.
