Daniel McKay

Daniel McKay has held various roles throughout their work experience. Daniel began their career at the New York Post, where they worked as an Account Executive, managing 40 accounts in Queens and Long Island. During this time, they doubled the number of running accounts and generated $180K in revenue. Daniel then took on the role of National Account Executive, managing the automotive, insurance, and sporting apparel categories. Daniel generated over $500K in new business from accounts such as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Allstate, and Nike. Daniel later became the Group Sales Manager for Entertainment & Travel, managing a revenue portfolio of $18 million and leading a team of six. Daniel achieved sales with major companies such as British Airways, American Airlines, HBO, and MTV. Most recently, Daniel worked at the Newsday Media Group as the Local Automotive Manager, where they managed $50MM in print and digital ad revenue, created successful total market saturation products, and established 15 new business accounts.

Daniel McKay received their Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Siena College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In 2015, they also obtained the IAB Digital Media Sales Certification from the IAB.
