Cherisse Munoz

Cherisse Munoz, PHR, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in strategic HR management and organizational development. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the New York Power Authority, Cherisse has demonstrated expertise in advising senior management, leading change initiatives, and overseeing key HR processes. Previously, Cherisse held the position of Corporate Vice President, Human Resources at New York Life Insurance Company, where responsibilities included managing a client group of approximately 1,100 employees and spearheading transformational initiatives. Additional experience includes roles at Time Warner Cable and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., encompassing HR generalist functions, training development, and organizational redesign. Cherisse holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University, and a Labor Relations Certification from Cornell University.
