Lead Engineer at New York Power Authority

Chris Viebrock has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Chris started their career at Langan International LLC in 2006 as an Assistant Project Manager. In 2008, they moved on to The Chazen Companies where they worked as a Senior Project Manager until 2011. Chris then joined Orange County Government, NY, where they held multiple roles including Deputy Commissioner of Public Works from 2011 until 2015, Acting Commissioner of Public Works from 2014 to 2015, Commissioner of Public Works from 2015 to 2017, and Acting Commissioner of Parks in 2017. From 2017 to 2023, Chris worked at MetroNorth Railroad as a Senior Engineer - Hydrology. Currently, they are employed by the New York Power Authority as a Lead Engineer, starting in 2023.

Chris Viebrock has an Associate's degree in Engineering Science from County College of Morris, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Subsequently, they studied Civil Engineering at Lehigh University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from 1998 to 2000.
