Robert Piascik is the SVP and Chief Information Officer at New York Power Authority. Robert has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Piascik began their career at Prudential Financial in January 2012 as Vice President IT - Strategy, Planning & Business Technology Management. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the global IT business service capabilities of Annuities Technology, including strategy development, service delivery, workforce management, demand management, IT governance, risk management, vendor and sourcing, performance analytics, and IT portfolio delivery. Robert also led a team of 43 directors for IT strategy, IT risk and controls, demand and workforce management office, vendor management office, and portfolio management.

In December 2017, Piascik left Prudential Financial to join New York Power Authority as SVP and Chief Information Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the Authority’s information technology strategy and operations. Robert oversees a team of over 200 IT professionals and manages an annual budget of $70 million.

Robert Piascik reports to Gil C. Quiniones, President and Chief Executive Officer. Robert Piascik works with Joseph Kessler - EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Yves Noel - SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development, and Justin E. Driscoll - EVP and General Counsel.
