Ivonee Fernandez has over 10 years of experience in human resources. Ivonee started their career at New York Life Insurance Company in 2003 as a Human Resources Generalist, where they were responsible for various HR functions such as staffing, compensation, employee relations, career development, and performance management. Ivonee implemented HR objectives for the International division and interpreted and implemented HR policies for managers and employees.

In 2010, Ivonee joined Cantor Fitzgerald as the VP of Human Resources. Ivonee held this role until 2014 and was also appointed as a Human Resources Manager, Vice-President during that time. In these positions, they showcased their expertise in HR generalist affairs, including performance management, employee relations, retention, staff development, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR policy development, and legal compliance.

Since 2014, Ivonee has been working as the Director of HR Business Partner at New York Public Radio. In this role, they act as a strategic business partner for assigned client groups, providing guidance and direction to management in all areas of human resources and aligning HR solutions with business needs.
