Mark Olkowski is a seasoned broadcast engineer with extensive experience in transmitter maintenance and engineering operations. Currently serving as a Transmitter Contract Engineer at New York Public Radio since December 2012, Mark is responsible for the maintenance of transmitter facilities for WNYC-FM and WQXR. Previously, Mark worked as an Engineering Consultant for Merlin Media, focusing on design for all-news radio operations in New York and Chicago. As Director of Broadcast Operations/Engineering at CBS Radio from August 1995 to November 2010, Mark held overall technical responsibility for six NYC CBS-owned radio stations. Additionally, as VP of Operations/Engineering at Osborn Communications Corporation from 1988 to 1995, Mark managed technical operations for multiple radio and TV stations.
