Milton Ruiz has extensive experience as a sound engineer and technician. Milton started their career in 2006 at Pregones Theater, where they worked as a Live Sound/Recording Engineer and later as a Sound Engineer/ Guitarist for "GAME OVER." Milton was responsible for controlling various sound mixes and designing and setting up the equipment.

In 2012, Ruiz joined The Jerome L. Greene Space at WNYC as a Live Sound Engineer/Studio Technician. Milton continued to enhance their skills in sound engineering until their departure in 2020.

Ruiz also worked at Central Synagogue from 2015 to 2021 as a Sound Engineer and A/V Technician, ensuring high-quality sound for various events and services.

Additionally, they contributed to New York Public Radio as a Senior Broadcast Engineer and WNYC as a Broadcast Engineer from 2020 to 2022.

Furthermore, Ruiz gained experience as a Stage Technician at Sony Hall from 2019 to 2020 and as a Sound Engineer at DROM from 2019 to 2020.

From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Sound Engineer at JOE'S PUB AT THE PUBLIC THEATER, managing tech riders, stage plots, and providing house and monitor mixes for a range of shows and events.

Throughout their career, Ruiz also worked as a guitarist and sound engineer for Abrazos Orchestra, a Sound Engineer at The Living Room, and a Recording Engineer at The Futuro Media Group.

Milton Ruiz attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Sound Recording Technology. Milton also attended Full Sail University from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained a Specialized Associate Degree in Recording Engineering, focusing on Record Production, Video Production & Editing, and Live Sound Reinforcement. In 2005, they attended Future Media Concepts and earned the title of Certified Pro-Tools Operator through Pro-Tools training and Master classes.
