Noriko Okabe has a diverse work experience in the audio recording industry. Noriko started their career as a Recording Engineer at New York Public Radio in 2006 and later worked at various organizations including The Moth, Music from Angel Fire, Marlboro School of Music, and Carnegie Hall. Noriko has also served as a Recording Engineer at Simon & Schuster, Magnificent Media, and Argot Studio. Additionally, they worked as a Concert Recording Engineer at C4 and KETTLE CORN NEW MUSIC INC. Noriko Okabe joined Carnegie Hall in 2022 as a Studio Manager.

Noriko Okabe began their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Piano Performance at Virginia Tech from 1994 to 1999. Noriko then went on to complete a Master's degree in Music Technology at New York University, where they studied until 2003.
