Godwin Farrugia

Godwin Farrugia is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in both non-profit and auditing sectors. Currently serving as Controller for New York Road Runners since October 2022, Godwin previously held the role of Senior Director of Finance at American Ballet Theatre from February 2014 to October 2022. In this capacity, responsibilities included overseeing a $50 million budget, managing compliance with bank covenants, and preparing financial reports for audits. Earlier experience includes various positions at Lutz and Carr CPA's LLP, where Godwin contributed to audit management and provided guidance on accounting standards. Godwin’s career began at C.I.C. Communications, where financial management and reporting were key duties. Godwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University, completed in 2005.
