James O'Brien

James O'Brien is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and leadership roles across various sectors. Currently, James serves as the Manager of Transportation & Medical Services for the New York Mets, a position held since April 2023. In parallel, James is engaged with the New York Army National Guard, where responsibilities include serving as a 1st Lieutenant and Executive Officer since October 2020, along with previously holding the role of 2nd Lieutenant as Finance Officer. Prior to these roles, James worked as a Security Supervisor for Threat Management at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. from October 2022 to April 2023 and managed Center Operations & Programs at the USO from October 2018 to October 2022. James began career foundations as a Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia from October 2016 to October 2018. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, earned between 2009 and 2013.
