Matthew Forys

Matthew Forys has extensive experience in strategy, analytics, and business operations, currently serving as Vice President of Strategy, Analytics, and Planning at New York Road Runners since June 2013. Forys has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Head Of Business Operations for Event Development & Production and Senior Director of Business Operations. Prior to joining New York Road Runners, Forys worked at BlackRock from July 2007 to April 2013, where roles included Project Manager in Strategy & Planning and Associate in Risk and Quantitative Analytics, specializing in risk and performance analytics for various equity portfolios. Forys began a career at Merrill Lynch as a Summer Analyst in 2006, focusing on risk and performance analysis. Educationally, Forys holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Environmental Studies from Bucknell University, obtained in 2007.
