Miriam Colon serves as the Associate Director at the New York State Small Business Development Center in Brooklyn since January 2009, providing entrepreneurial technical assistance to established businesses and startups. Responsibilities include offering individual consulting on business compliance, business plan development, financing options, corporate formation, marketing strategies, cash flow analysis, and tax compliance. Additionally, Miriam Colon has held the position of Acting Director at Americas SBDC NYS since March 2008 and previously served as Acting Director at NYS Small Business Development Center from 2000 to 2008. Miriam Colon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The City College of New York, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Education and Psychology.
