Halie Northrop is an experienced communications and legislative professional with a strong background in government affairs. Currently serving as Communications Coordinator for the Minority Conference Services within the New York State Senate since March 2019, Halie has previously worked as District Office Community Liaison for Senator Daphne Jordan. Prior experience includes a role as Constituent Liaison for Congresswoman Elise Stefanik in the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as a Congressional Internship with Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand. Halie's early career also includes a Summer Legal Fellowship at the Government Law Center at Albany Law School and a Legislative Internship for Senator David Carlucci. Halie holds an Advanced Certificate in Government Affairs and Advocacy from Albany Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Pre-Law from Siena College.
