Legislative Analyst And Community Affairs Liaison at New York State Senate

Katie Kreutter, MPA, currently serves as a Legislative Analyst and Community Affairs Liaison for the New York State Senate since June 2022, while also managing the Amped and Greater Rochester Clean Cities programs at Causewave Community Partners since June 2024, focusing on energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives. Previously, Katie held roles such as Senate Fellow for the New York State Senate's Office of Student Programs, Capital Access Manager at Kiva Rochester, Graduate Assistant at the Institute for Poverty Studies & Economic Development, and Graduate Intern for the City of Rochester. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Faith Formation at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Chaplain Resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and Project Specialist at Compeer Rochester, Inc. Katie holds a Master of Public Administration from SUNY Brockport, a Master’s Degree in Divinity/Ministry from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from St. John Fisher University.
