New York State Senate
Leonard Goodkin is an experienced communications professional currently serving as New Media Manager and Press Officer for the New York State Senate since March 2013. In this role, responsibilities include crafting press releases to inform the public about Democratic Conference legislative agendas and coordinating logistics for events featuring Senate Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins. Additionally, Leonard has volunteered as Director of Communications for New York State Senate candidate John E. Brooks. Prior to this, Leonard worked as an SAT Tutor at Study Buddies and served as a Teacher and Education Specialist at the Los Angeles County Office of Education, where tasks included writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and designing instructional environments. Leonard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Communications from the University of Judaism, earned between 2000 and 2003.
