Lya Rothmann

Lya Rothmann is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in community engagement and political campaigns. Currently serving as a Community Liaison and Executive Assistant for the New York State Senate since August 2021, Lya is responsible for managing scheduling and providing background information for events for Senator Toby Stavisky. Previous roles include Pharmacy Assistant at Hunold Pharmacy, Organizer for Anna Kaplan's NY State Senate campaign, and Intern for Melanie D'Arrigo's congressional campaign. Lya's early experiences include writing for the student newspaper at SUNY Geneseo and working in various dining services, demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills. Lya holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from SUNY Geneseo and has engaged in study abroad programs, enriching a strong academic background.
