Barbara Toy is an experienced fundraising consultant and arts professional, currently serving as the Interim Director of Development at New York Stage and Film since June 2024. With a robust background in managing development operations, Barbara's expertise spans individual and major giving, institutional support, and event production. Notable past roles include Director of Development at Atlantic Theater Company and Associate Director of Development at Theatre for a New Audience, where Barbara successfully managed major gifts programs and donor cultivation initiatives. Additionally, experience includes serving as the Senior Officer for Individual Giving and Special Events at the New York Foundation for the Arts and implementing significant fundraising campaigns at various arts organizations.
