Emily Ruiz

Emily Ruiz is an experienced professional with a background in emergency services and media production. Currently serving as a State Trooper with the New York State Police since May 2018, Emily previously worked as a 911 EMT-B Responder for both Empress Emergency Medical Services and the New York City Fire Department. In addition to emergency response roles, Emily has a strong foundation in media, having produced and coordinated content for various platforms, including as an Online Content Writer and Video Producer for Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers, and as a lead producer at Fox News Channel. Educated at Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, Emily also holds New York State EMT Certification and is AHA CPR Certified.
