Computer Forensic Analyst V (supervisor) at New York State Police

Heather Charpentier possesses extensive experience in the fields of computer forensics and mobile device forensics. Currently serving as a Contract Trainer at Hexordia since July 2025, Heather also holds multiple roles at the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, including Advanced Mobile Device Forensics Chairperson and Instructor. At the New York State Police, Heather has progressed through various positions, culminating in the role of Computer Forensic Analyst V (Supervisor) since February 2015. Additionally, Heather was an Adjunct Professor at the University at Albany, SUNY, teaching Mobile Forensics. Previously, Heather worked as a Probation Officer and Restitution Clerk for the Washington County Probation Department. Heather holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity/Computer Forensics from Utica University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
