New York State School Boards Association
David Albert has a significant amount of work experience in various communication and management roles. David served as the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at the New York State School Boards Association, where they led a team of professionals and handled strategic planning, marketing, research, media relations, and executive communications. Prior to that, they were the Managing Member of Strategic Communication Advisors, LLC, where they developed and patented media software used by multiple universities. David also worked as the Director of Communications at AMRI, a biotechnology company, and as the Communications Coordinator for the City School District Albany. Additionally, they held legislative roles in the New York State Assembly, including serving as a Legislative Associate and Special Assistant on education policy and budget negotiations.
David Albert has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Communication and Rhetoric from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. David also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Siena College and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English from the University at Albany, SUNY.
