Anthony Sarmiento

Managing Editor, The CPA Journal at New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants

Anthony Sarmiento has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Anthony started their career as an Assistant Editor at The CPA Journal in 2000, and later became an Associate Editor in 2004. In 1998, they joined NYSSCPA as an Associate Editor for The CPA Journal and eventually became the Managing Editor in 2012. During their time at NYSSCPA, they oversaw the manuscript review and editorial production process, edited technical professional content, and developed proposals for future content. In addition, Sarmiento also served as a Board Member at 4 W 101 St from 2012 to 2015, where they reviewed monthly financial reports and applications for prospective owners and renters in a cooperative building.

Anthony Sarmiento earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General from Cornell University in 1997. Anthony later obtained a Master's degree in Publishing from New York University in 2004. In addition, Anthony holds a Certificate in Editing from NYU.
