Carrie Andrews

Carrie Andrews is a seasoned professional in labor relations and educational advocacy, currently serving as the Regional Staff Director at New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) since January 2004. In this role, Carrie manages the operations of the Rochester office, oversees a team of Labor Relations Specialists, and develops programming for 30,000 regional members. Prior to this position, Carrie was a Labor Relations Specialist at NYSUT, where responsibilities included negotiating collective bargaining agreements and training members on labor laws. Additionally, Carrie has experience in local government as the Democratic Minority Leader in the Monroe County Legislature, leading the caucus in legislative matters and managing legislative staff and strategy. Earlier experience also includes working as a Labor Relations and Professional Issues Associate at the Rochester Teachers Association. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
