Emily Allen is a seasoned media professional with a diverse background in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as a Media Specialist at NYSUT since February 2023, Emily previously held the position of Media Strategist at Baker Public Relations from May 2021 to February 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Sinclair Broadcast Group from May 2016 to May 2021 as a Weekend News Anchor and Reporter, as well as a Multi Media Journalist at Time Warner Cable News between August 2013 and April 2016. Earlier in Emily's career, valuable experience was gained as a News Assistant, responsible for filming, editing, and writing news stories, and as an intern at YNN Albany during the summer of 2012. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from SUNY Oneonta and graduated from Shenendehowa Central School District in 2009.
