Scientist, Diabetes at New York Stem Cell Foundation

Nathan Dale is an Associate Scientist in the Diabetes department at New York Stem Cell Foundation. Prior to joining NYSCF, Dale worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University in the Biomaterials and Interface Tissue Engineering Laboratory under Dr. Helen H. Lu. Nathan's research focused on mechanisms of tissue-to-tissue interface regeneration, with specific focus on the interactions between macrophages and fibroblasts, as well as design of biomimetic scaffolds to promote formation of complex tissues. Dale also has experience working as a Research Assistant at the Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies and the Canary Center at Stanford for Cancer Early Detection. Nathan received their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2016.

Nathan Dale pursued a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University after completing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering at Stanford University.
