Mat Black is an experienced IT professional with extensive expertise in leadership and digital program management. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer and Programme Director for the NZ Traveller Declaration Program at New Zealand Customs Service since October 2010, Mat is responsible for overseeing the digital replacement of the New Zealand Arrival Card. Previously, Mat held multiple roles at ANZ National Bank, including Chief Information Officer, Acting CIO, Chief Architect, and Solutions Designer, focusing on Unix Infrastructure design. Additionally, Mat contributed to the National Digital Heritage Archive as Applications and Integration Architect and worked at the National Library of New Zealand as NDHA Integration Architect from November 1999 to September 2009.
