Channy Mao

Channy Taylor is an experienced legal professional with a focus on employment law and commercial matters. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager for Resources Law at the New Zealand Defence Force since July 2018, Channy previously held the position of Senior Advisor for Enforceable Undertakings at WorkSafe New Zealand, where responsibilities included advising on legally binding agreements. Other roles include Senior Solicitor at Mahony Horner Lawyers and Solicitor at both Hospitality New Zealand and the Plumbers, Gasfitters, & Drainlayers Board, providing strategic and regulatory advice in various legal contexts. Channy holds a Master of Laws from The University of Auckland and has completed advanced studies in commercial law and professional legal studies.
