Erena McAllum

Erena McAllum currently serves as the Director of Shared Services at New Zealand Defence Force since September 2022. Previously, Erena held the position of Director at the Department of Internal Affairs from January 2022 to September 2022. Erena's experience with NZ Police spans from 2013 to 2021, including roles such as Principal Executive Advisor in the Office of the Commissioner and Director of the National Performance & Insights Centre. Other roles within NZ Police include Director of Strategic Integration and Manager of the Analytical Services Group. In the Ministry of Justice, Erena worked from June to September 2021 as Director/Chief Advisor in the Office of the Pou Whakatere, Deputy Secretary MĀORI. Erena's academic background includes studies at Victoria University of Wellington between 2016 and 2018.
