Hugh Aitken

Hugh Aitken is an experienced educational and defense professional currently serving as the Executive Director at The Learning Company since January 2020. Aitken has an extensive background with the New Zealand Defence Force, holding roles such as Executive Officer at the New Zealand Defence College and Officer Command at the Defence International Learning Centre, focusing on trainer development and cultural orientation for international students. Additionally, Aitken has been involved in instructional training development through the Health Knowledge Group New Zealand Ltd since 2012 and has a history of leadership in the Royal Navy of Oman and the Royal New Zealand Navy, specializing in diving operations and mine warfare training.
