Jane Coleman

Jane Coleman has extensive experience in policy and project management within New Zealand's public sector, currently serving as Director Estate Policy at the New Zealand Defence Force since April 2018. Previously, Jane held roles as Senior Advisor within the State Services Commission and during a secondment at New Zealand Police, where Jane contributed to process improvement initiatives. Prior roles include Advisor and Planning Advisor at the Department of Corrections, where Jane focused on service design for offender education and reporting on departmental progress. Early career experience includes positions as Group PA at the Tertiary Education Commission and Project Coordinator at Tauranga City Council. Jane holds a Bachelor's Degree in Security Studies and Social Policy from Massey University.
