Daniel van de Pas

Daniel van de Pas is a scientist with extensive experience in lignin chemistry and epoxy resin chemistry, focusing on the isolation, fractionation, depolymerisation, characterisation, and modification of materials for various applications. Since August 2006, Daniel has been employed at Scion, where contributions include the development of bio-based prepolymers. Additionally, in May 2009, Daniel served as a visiting researcher at VTT, participating in the Lignival program. Daniel holds a Master's Degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science (Technology) in Chemistry, both from The University of Waikato, with studies completed from 2000 to 2006.
