Song Bing currently serves as a Scientist at Scion since October 2019, with a focus on electrocatalysis of biomass and synchrotron techniques as an Adjunct Fellow at UNSW from September 2023 to March 2024. Previous experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hong Kong Baptist University from February to September 2019, specializing in composting, anaerobic digestion, and waste management, along with a brief tenure as a Visiting Scholar at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences in late 2018. Additionally, Song Bing worked as a Teaching Assistant at Curtin University from May 2014 to October 2018, engaging in topics such as biorefinery and hydrothermal pretreatment. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University, and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing.
