Lauren Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lauren currently holds the position of Head of Global Brands at New Zealand King Salmon since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Marketing Manager and Global Brand Manager at the same company. Before joining New Zealand King Salmon, Lauren worked as a Senior Business Manager at Clemenger BBDO from November 2017 to March 2019. Lauren also gained experience as a Senior Account Manager at eg+ worldwide, where they led various projects and campaigns. Lauren has also held positions such as Business Manager at MadSocial, Vocal Coach / Lead Singer / Manager at Feijoa Funk, and Business Development Manager and Events Manager at Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre. Lauren started their career as a Senior Marketing Manager and Account Manager at Cooper McKenzie Marketing, working with a diverse range of clients. Lauren also worked as a Marketing Tutor at Victoria University of Wellington, where they taught various marketing subjects and provided academic support to students.

Lauren Ellis completed their Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, specializing in Marketing Management, and their Bachelor of Arts Minor in Performing Arts and Songwriting at the University of Otago from 2006 to 2010. Lauren also holds a Certificate 4 in Frontline Management from Leadership Management Australia (RTO #3908), although the month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
