Caroline Ralph is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in international trade and diplomacy, currently serving as the Lead Legal Adviser for the Trade Law Unit at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade since November 2006. Throughout this tenure, Caroline has held multiple significant roles, including Lead Adviser for the New Zealand Sanctions Unit and Diplomat as First Secretary for Political and Economic affairs in Canberra, Australia. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Trade and Agriculture Policy Officer in the Europe Division and various diplomatic roles in Tokyo, Japan. Caroline's career began at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) as a Client Information Officer in Identity Services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with double majors in Japanese and Politics, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington, complemented by training at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
