Charlie Gillard

Charlie Gillard is an experienced diplomat and policy analyst, currently serving as Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand High Commission to Papua New Guinea. Previous roles include Senior Policy Officer for Pacific Regional Issues and Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand Mission to ASEAN. Charlie Gillard also worked as a Policy Analyst - International at the New Zealand Treasury and has academic experience as a tutor at the University of Waikato, where Charlie served as Vice-President of the Waikato Students' Union. Educational achievements include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Comparative Law and a Bachelor of Management Studies in International Management and Public Relations, both from the University of Waikato.
