Marty Bayly

Marty Bayly serves as the Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance Manager at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade since May 2022. With a solid background in cybersecurity and digital management, previous roles include Senior Advisor Digital and Cybersecurity at WorkSafe New Zealand, Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at the Ministry of Health, and Senior Cybersecurity Programme Manager at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Marty has also held positions such as Head of Cybersecurity & Chief Information Security Officer at Bank of New Zealand and Project Manager at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand. Educational achievements include a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Science from Victoria University of Wellington, alongside a brief study at the University of Otago.
