Olivia Klinkum

Olivia Klinkum currently serves as an International Legal Adviser at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade since May 2023. Prior to this role, Olivia was a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court from June 2022 to May 2023, and worked as a Solicitor at Meredith Connell from February 2020 to July 2021. Olivia's earlier experience includes serving as a Judge's Clerk at the Ministry of Justice in the New Zealand Court of Appeal from January 2018 to January 2020. Academically, Olivia holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Harvard University, attained between September 2021 and May 2022, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Law (First Class Honours) along with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and French from the University of Otago from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Olivia has completed studies at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in 2016 and graduated with NCEA levels 1, 2, and 3 with Excellence from Wellington Girls' College in 2012.
