Paula Wilson is an experienced professional in foreign affairs and trade, currently serving as Divisional Manager for North Asia at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade. Previously, Paula held roles as Foreign Policy Adviser at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Divisional Manager for Europe at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, and Ambassador to Belgium and Deputy Head of Mission to the EU at the New Zealand Embassy in Brussels. Additional experience includes serving as Director of the Chief Executive's Office and Deputy Director of Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Paula Wilson holds a Master of Arts with Honours in Geography and History from the University of Canterbury, completed between 1989 and 1993, and attended Burnside High School in Christchurch from 1984 to 1988.
