Dennis Xiong

Dennis Xiong is a finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles. Currently serving as an Assistant Financial Accountant at NZ Post since October 2025, Dennis previously held the position of Senior Finance Operations Officer - Accounts Payable at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment from October 2023 to October 2025, focusing on customer service and financial accuracy. Prior experience includes roles as a Payroll Assistant at Stats NZ, Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable at Heritage Lifecare, and Finance Officer - Accounts Payable at Accor, where Dennis managed high volumes of invoices and ensured compliance with financial processes. Dennis also has a background in corporate banking from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Academically, Dennis holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington and a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Hull.
