Phillip Leaupepe-Nickel

Phillip Leaupepe-Nickel is a legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel at NZ Post and Consultant at Wasserman Rugby, both positions held since September 2023. Additionally, Phillip serves as a Director at Wellington Rugby League since September 2022. Previously, Phillip worked as a Solicitor and Law Graduate at Simpson Grierson from February 2020 to October 2023 and gained experience as a Law Clerk at the Banking Ombudsman Scheme (NZ) from November 2015 to February 2020. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from Victoria University of Wellington, where studies were completed between 2015 and 2020, following education at Scots College from 2008 to 2014.
