Michael Yannakis

Michael Yannakis has extensive experience in treasury and insurance roles, currently serving as Group Treasurer and Insurance Manager at KiwiRail since March 2013, with previous positions as Treasury and Insurance Manager, Senior Treasury and Insurance Analyst, and Treasury Analyst. Prior to KiwiRail, Michael worked at Alpha Bank as a Treasury Dealer from July 2008 to October 2012 and held roles at UBS Global Asset Management in the FX Dealing Team and UKForex Ltd as an FX Dealer. Michael earned a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Victoria University of Wellington between 2000 and 2004.
