Qing

Qing Ma is a CEng MICE with a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Qing is currently working at KiwiRail as the Engineering Project Director since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Engineering Design Lead - Structures at KiwiRail from September 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining KiwiRail, Qing worked at Peter Brett Associates as an Associate from July 2018 to September 2020. During their tenure at Peter Brett Associates, they also served as the Principal Bridge Engineer from April 2017 to September 2020.

Qing's career began at Tony Gee and Partners, where they worked as a Bridge Design Engineer from May 2013 to April 2017. Qing then joined Amey as an Assistant Bridge Engineer from August 2010 to May 2013.

Their earliest experience in the field was gained at Black & Veatch, where they worked as a Trainee Engineer from August 2007 to September 2008.

Qing Ma (CEng MICE) completed a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 2003 to 2007. Qing furthered their education at the University of Birmingham from 2006 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering.
