Steve Davidson

Steve Davidson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Steve began their career as a Maintenance Engineer at Pilkington in 1984, specializing in glass production engineering. Steve then worked as a Foreman at Neuman Ryder LTD, where they were responsible for structural steel workshop projects and furniture fabrication. After that, they joined Capital Dairy Products as an Engineer before moving on to Unilever, where they worked as an Engineer for 16 years. Since 2012, Steve has been working at KiwiRail, initially as a Production Supervisor and then progressing to Process and Quality Engineer, Operations Manager, and finally Operations Lead. Throughout their career, Steve has developed skills in project planning, material procurement, SAP user, Lean manufacturing rollout, Solidworks user, and coordinating risk management implementation. Steve is experienced in managing contract and operational activities, supporting continuous improvements, and promoting a focus on zero harm and business continuity.

Steve Davidson attended Hillmorton High School but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study.
