Claire MacFarlane

Claire Macfarlane is a skilled finance professional and musician, currently serving as Finance Business Partner at New Zealand Red Cross since September 2021. With extensive experience, Claire has worked as a Senior Financial Accountant at the Ministry for Culture and Heritage and held various roles in financial advisory and accounting, including a position as Financial Systems Adviser at VSA and a contractor at Save the Children NZ. In addition to financial expertise, Claire has been a Freelance Violinist with Orchestra Wellington since 2007, showcasing a strong background in performance and music administration. Claire holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Management from Massey University and a PGDip RAM in Historical Performance from the Royal Academy of Music, and is in the process of becoming a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
