Tim McCready is a seasoned strategy advisor with extensive experience in international business, trade, and agribusiness. Currently serving as a Strategy Advisor for the New Zealand Story Group since January 2022, Tim focuses on enhancing New Zealand's global reputation. Tim has also contributed to the New Zealand Herald's business reports since 2015, providing insights on various topics such as sustainable finance and politics. In addition, Tim holds roles as a Venture Partner and Principal Consultant at BioPacific Partners, working on strategic projects across Australia and New Zealand. Tim has served as a judge and convenor for multiple business awards, as well as a master of ceremonies for various international summits. Previous positions include APEC CEO Summit Content Producer, Business Development Manager at Kahne Animal Health, and several key roles at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, where investment strategies for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa were developed. Tim's educational background includes a Master of Bioscience Enterprise and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Auckland, along with studies in Māori language at Auckland University of Technology.
