Amy Carter

Amy Carter has extensive experience in various roles within the racing and economic sectors. Currently serving as a Racing Operations Assistant at New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing Inc since June 2022, previous roles include Internal Operations Manager and Racing Business Associate at the same organization. Prior to this, Amy was a Senior Policy Analyst in the City Planning Unit at Hamilton City Council from February 2020 to June 2022, and worked at Deloitte New Zealand as a Manager and Senior Analyst from November 2018 to February 2020. Earlier career experience includes an Economic Analyst position at Urban Economics from June 2014 to November 2018 and a part-time Stud Groom role at Haunui Farm Ltd during summer seasons. Amy holds a Bachelor of Applied Economics from Massey University and has a background in Social Sciences from Österportgymnasiet.
