Darryl Smith

Darryl Smith has been with New Zealand's Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) since 1986, starting as an apprentice Fitter and Welder before progressing to various roles such as Mechanical Tradesperson, Equipment Reliability Officer, Maintenance Crew Leader, and currently serving as the Superintendent of Stores, mechanical, electrical, mobile equipment, and instrumentation workshop. Darryl also has experience working in various engineering and construction companies, showcasing their diverse skill set in heavy fabrication, rural engineering, and plant maintenance. Additionally, Darryl has worked internationally during their OE in London, gaining experience in construction and hospitality industries.
