Shoaib Qureshi is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the field of finance and accounting. Currently serving as Financial Controller at newage Cables (Pvt) Ltd. since April 2022, Shoaib has previously held similar roles at Fast Cables and Sefam Pvt Limited (Bareeze), where leadership of finance teams was a key responsibility. Prior to these positions, Shoaib served as Manager Accounts at U.S Apparel (Pvt) Limited and as Head of Internal Audit at Aftab Group of Companies. Early career experience includes working as Senior Auditor at Riaz Ahmad & Co. Chartered Accountants, where responsibilities encompassed planning audits and evaluating financial systems for major clients in Pakistan. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies for the C.A. degree at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, supplemented by a degree in Economics and Statistics from The University of Punjab.

Newage Cables was established in 1956 Lahore (Pakistan) as a private company for manufacturing of house wiring cables. Through its policy of continuous expansion and improvement, Newage cables has emerged as the largest cable manufacturer in Pakistan and the 1st in its category to be accredited with ISO 9001:2008 certification and has also developed other allied manufacturing facilities. The plant of Newage Cables is located at the 18th Km, Lahore-Sheikhupura Road, Lahore and is spread over and area of 70 Acres. The equipment for the manufacturing and testing is maintained in the excellent condition to ensure the product quality at all stages of manufacturing. For lighting and general use, we manufacture General Wiring Cables in the range of 250/440V upto 600/1000V. These cables are manufactured in conformity with national & international standards that provide safety and savings in electricity consumption because of the use of 99.90% pure copper, cable grade PVC and thorough quality tests of every meter of cable. To cater to the requirements of Utilities, Projects and Industries, Low tension (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) cables are manufactured which are subject to rigorous in-house quality checks. LV and MV cables have been fully type tested by HV & SC Lab, Rawat & RTL Faisalabad.
